Protection package
You can get the protection package for a surcharge of 10% of the rental fee.
With the protection package, the rental items are 100% insured from 08.00 to 18.00 - without excess.
After 18.00, the rental items must be stored in a depot or in a customary, locked ski room.
When booking online, taking out the protection package means no cancellation fees apply.
Should the skis / boards you rented from STARTSCHUSS ski rental be stolen, please report to our shop immediately. We will help you fill out the loss report required for reporting the theft to the responsible police station. After reporting the theft to the police, you will receive a police report. Please present it in our shop and you will receive equivalent rental equipment at no additional cost.
If you lose your skis/snowboard while skiing in deep snow, riding a chairlift, etc., and you are unable to recover the rental equipment, please report this immediately in one of our shops. This loss must be reported to the police.
If your ski/board has been damaged in a fall, collision, etc., please come to one of our shops immediately with the damaged rental equipment. You will receive equivalent rental equipment at no additional cost.

The protection package only covers the costs of theft & loss if the theft or loss occurs between 08.00 - and 18.00.
The rental equipment must not be left unsecured (ski lock or depot).
Presenting a theft or loss report is mandatory! If no theft or loss report is presented, the excess amount of the corresponding class must be paid!
