Startschuss Ski Rental

We are at Kohlstatt 260 in 6283 Schwendau, right at the valley station of the Horbergbahn. It is about four minutes by car from Mayrhofen, and the ski bus terminal stops right outside the door. The entrance to the Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 is just across the road.

Yes, free parking is available at the Horbergbahn – even on busy days during the February school holidays. If you can't find a space in Mayrhofen, park here for free, rent your equipment and leave it overnight in the depot.

The price depends on the category and rental period: the longer you rent, the cheaper the day. Poles are included with all ski sets, and there are separate price levels for children by age group.

Yes – with an online reservation you save up to 15 percent compared to the daily price in the shop. You choose the date, category and size in advance; we do the fine-tuning of boot and binding on site. During the holiday weeks it is also a question of availability.

Yes, the ski depot is just a few steps from the valley station. The open ski rack is free of charge for all skis and snowboards from our rental. Heated depot lockers for two people also dry helmets, gloves and ski boots overnight.

Ski depot at the Horbergbahn valley station

From the beginning of December until the end of the season we are there for you every day; the shop stays closed during the summer months. The exact times for the current season are on the opening hours page.

Yes, we carry skis, boots and helmets in all children's sizes – in age groups up to six years, from seven to eleven and as junior skis up to fifteen years. It is best to bring the shoe size and current weight, as the binding setting is based on them.

For anyone heading up the Penken or into the Zillertal 3000 ski area, yes. The Horbergbahn is the second lift up into the Mayrhofen ski area, has free parking and much shorter distances than the village centre. Skis and boots stay with us in the depot in the evening.
